This Week at Camp

Welcome back to work, everyone. I hope your Easter break was fantastic.

The camp office is a busy place this week as we prepare for LIT Day on Saturday.  We will spend the day at Morningside - High Park Presbyterian Church putting the LIT applicants through their paces.  There is a parent's meeting at 3:00 on LIT day, where we try to give families all the information they need to prepare for their summer experience.

We have 2 Church services this weekend, too!  Match is visiting Hillsburgh, and I am joining St. Andrew's Bowmanville for worship.  We're looking forward to seeing some our campers in those congregations - and hopefully it will feel like Spring by the Weekend!

On behalf of all of us at the Cairn Camping Office I'd like to wish you a happy Easter!  Take time this weekend to be thankful, joyful and full of new life.  Jesus has risen, and we are loved unconditionally.

We're back!

The 2008 Tri-State Conference was a great success!  Topaz, Match and Taps all had wonderful sessions, and we are full of new ideas moving forward.

This picture is taken in the Atlantic City Convention Centre on the 1st day of the conference.  Look for more photos and videos to be added soon!

We're off to the Tri-State Conference!

From Tuesday until Saturday (March 11-15th), Topaz, Match and Taps will all be in Atlantic City attending the 2008 Tri-State Camp Conference.

It is a long drive in both directions...but well worth it.  Tri-State is a huge conference (4000+ attendees), and it is always a fabulous opportunity to share ideas and inspirations with other Camp Directors.

The Cairn office will be closed until Monday, March 17th as we're all out of the province.  All calls and e-mails will be returned at that point.
