Breez just called the camp office to let us know that she's going to be on TV! CTV in Kitchener-Waterloo (CKCO) is doing a short broadcast based on a school project that Breez was a part of.
I'll add more details as I get them, but if you're in the KW area, tune in at 6:30 or 11:00 this evening.

Brampton Presbytery is running monthly Youth Services. Services aimed at young people, planned and written by young people and delivered by young people. These services are open to all youth groups and young people who want to attend.
Most exciting about all of this: our very own Tagu (Liz Cooper) is on the planning team!
The first service is on Sunday, October 21st, 7:30, Clarkson Rd. Presbyterian Church.

On Monday, Cairn was asked to present it's report to Synod. We showed the Teen Week Video, and then Allison Cooper did a great job delivering the Camp Report. In the discussions that followed, many Commissioners and Ministers took the floor to express their support of Cairn, and to ask good questions about the future. The report was well received, and we felt very supported by those in attendance at Synod.
A huge thanks to all the performers and the camp staff who made our first annual concert a success! We had lots of help with set-up, take-down, food, tickets and behind-the-scenes preparations, and we appreciate it all very much.
To those who came for the show, thank you also for your support of camp. We were a small crowd this year, but full of friendly faces and willing participants. As this concert grows over the next few years, I suspect we'll all talk about the good old days of 2007 - when we didn't always have to use microphones, and there was plenty of punch for everyone!
Lastly, thank you to the musicians. You were all spectacular.
Let's do it again next year!
Sunday, October 14th is when Cairn's first ever, first annual Synod-wide Concert takes place. If you haven't yet made arrangements to be there...what are you waiting for?
